A graduate of Georgia Southern University and declared a "Georgia Arthritis
Survivor" by the Arthritis Foundation, Meredith Boyd is currently a Communications
Director with the nation's largest financial services PR firm in the nation. You
will also find her attending Arthritis Foundation events as their official
spokesperson (Nationally and Georgia). Television and print have carried her message
of hope for those afflicted with this debilitating disease. She also serves on the
board of Arthritis Foundation Georgia Chapter Young Professionals and Arthritis
Foundation Communications Council.

Meredith and her husband Matt will be celebrating their 11th year wedding
anniversary in December. Matt Boyd is Chief of Detectives for the Powder Springs
Police Department, he introduced her to M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) in
conjunction with D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education). Together they explored
the Special Olympics and Ronald McDonald House who share special places in their
hearts.

Makeup Artistry is a passion for Meredith who can be found applying her touches to
many at the personal, professional and pageant levels including two Miss America's!
She is comfortable in front of and behind the camera. Her quest for quality led her
to start Mere Cosmetics. Her efforts have resulted in many awards and crownings.

Her makeup artistry is matched by Matt's graphic artistry and photography talents
that makeup the dynamic duo of Matt Boyd Photography. Specializing in pageant, model
and actor headshots, this couple was made for each other. A true definition of
soulmates.

The Points of Light Network thought very highly of Meredith and presented her with
the prestigious President’s Daily Points of Light Award for volunteerism.

She holds the titles of Mrs. Georgia United States 2003 placing 4th runner-up at
Mrs. United States and Mrs. Georgia International 2008 placing 1st runner-up in the
Mrs. International pageant.
